About Me
Welcome! I'm Trisha Hendrie and as you can tell by now I consider myself to be a thoughtful owl, hence the name.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the hidden patterns that shape our lives—how we grow, adapt, and seek meaning. I am a practitioner, teacher, and lifelong student of the symbolic threads that connect us, and I created Thoughtful Owl to help women explore their own inner wisdom.
To keep things comfortable and grounded, I host most of my tarot readings, workshops, and classes right from my home in beautiful Georgian Bluffs, Ontario. It’s a relaxed, welcoming environment where we can settle in, pull some cards, and have a thoughtful conversation about whatever is on your mind.
I bring together a formal academic background with decades of intuitive practice to create a space where you can truly feel heard. Here is a little more about my path and approach:
-
My Background: I hold a B.S. and an M.S. in Psychology, and I have taught multiple psychology courses at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. Over the years, I’ve also organized and facilitated many small learning groups—always with the goal of creating a comfortable, welcoming space for people to connect and explore new ideas together.
-
My Intuitive Experience: I have been reading cards and studying esoteric traditions, philosophy, astrology, and world religions for more than 30 years. I am also a Certified Intuitive Development Coach & Spiritual Coach
-
My Style: Relaxed, kind, focused, and deeply compassionate. I don’t use tarot to predict a fixed future or tell you what to do. Instead, I listen closely, ask open-ended questions, and use the cards as a gentle mirror for your own life.
-
My Goal for You: Whether you are joining me for a reading, a private workshop, or a series, my hope is always the same. I want you to leave our time together feeling understood, a little more introspective, and with a renewed trust in your own intuition.
